Its soft, warm, very comfortable sole...but....the little thong that goes between the toes is extremely uncomfortable. It pinches both toes and top of foot. Unfortunately, it goes back.

I went with the slippers with the highest rating on Zappos.com and boy was I disappointed. It felt soft and looked nice, but the strap on the thong is way too short. I can barely get my toes in there, and when I do, it hurts so much from the tight strapping. I didn't return them right away because I thought I should break them in. Maybe by stepping on them more, the sole will soften and lower giving more strap on the thong. But no, it still hurts after ten days.

These run very large. I have a somewhat slender foot, wearing an 8 but sometimes a 7-1/2. I bought the "6-1/2 to 7-1/2" and the foot bed is very large with easily 3/4" - 1" of slipper extending beyond my feet on all sides (including length). I look like I'm wearing snowshoes. That said, the strap/thong-things are very tight. Slipper is stiff. All in all, disappointed.

I have worn these acorn slippers for years. I usually love them! However, I have had to buy two pairs in the last two months and I am so disappointed. The first of my most recent purchases that I ordered I had to throw away because they smelt terrible!!! This has never happened with any of my previous pairs before and I always wear my slippers after I clean my feet. The second pair of my most recent purchase is extremely loose in the toe divider strap of the thong and they are shedding black fuzz everywhere. Sadly, I am not sure what has happened with the quality of this product.

This was too small and very stiff. This was an exchange but it still was not good.

I am so sad. These adorable slippers just do not fit me. I reordered my correct size, ( am a 10M) thinking that I had originally gotten a dud pair. They were still too small. Ditto with the XXL. The thong is just too darned short to accommodate my big foot. Bummer, as they are super soft and cushy.

I HAVE A LOT OF FOOT AND BACK PROBLEMS AND CAN ONLY WHERE ORTHOTIC SHOES. I ORDERED THESE BECAUSE THE DESCRIPTION SAID THEY HAD A "Raised heel counter and arch for enhanced stability".....THEY ARRIVED YESTERDAY, BUT THEY ARE GOING BACK TODAY. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO ARCH OR HEEL...WHY PAY THIS MUCH FOR THESE SHOES WHEN YOU CAN GO TO MARSHALL'S AND GET A MEMORY FOAM PAIR FOR LESS? WHICH IS ALL THIS WAS, JUST A PAIR OF REGULAR MEMORY FOAM TYPE SHOES. SO DISAPPOINTED.

I bought them based on the positive reviews. When I received them they cut in between my toes PAINFULLY. I was sure they just needed to be broken into. I started wearing them with socks because that's the only way they weren't that painful. Now after a few weeks. I can't were them without socks. They have been broken into and not changed at all. I have wore them and disposed of all packaging so I cannot return them. I gave them the benefit of doubt. I should have gone with the uggs slip on's but this one had better reviews and less. Moral of story, should have invested a little more.

The cushion and feel is really soft and comfy. The part I had a problem with is the thong between the big toe and second toe. Ouch. Had to return. :(

I'm a 6.5 and this slipper was way too big. It looked like a 10! Hoping for a better result by exchanging for a Small.

Way too tight across the top of one foot. I have been a true Acorn fan for seven years. This is the first time I have ever had a problem.
