These boots are well made and a nice warm color. I did feel a bit nervous that they may scratch or scuff with normal wear. They do feel a bit narrow and I ordered a half size up based on previous reviews, and this was the correct size for this boot. My main concern was that they would not be comfortable for a great amount of walking, which I need as a college student walking across campus every day. A good boot, but not for my needs, so I returned.

Very narrow. Ordered a wide based on feedback and still too narrow. Looks like a nice boot otherwise. Sending back.

I love the look of these boots, but they fit like a narrow even though I ordered and received a wide. Still, because I love the look of them so much, I'm going to power through and maybe get them stretched so they will be more comfortable sooner. If you are in doubt as to what size/width to order, order a half-size larger and go for wider, especially if you have a high arch and/or instep.

I really wanted these boots to work. They were everything I was looking for, midcalf, waterproof, lace up and affordable. I bought the size 7 first and thought I'd be okay because I have a narrow foot and can wear a double A narrow in some brands. Nope, not these shoes. So I sized up to see if the 7.5 would be more comfortable. Nope, oddly too wide and foot slipped in the heel. I probably could have kept the 7 and dealt with a long breaking in period but there are other boots out there...

Zipper on the inner shaft of the boot was super chintzy and I couldn't get them re-zipped. Sole seems somewhat insubstantial.

They are very narrow for a wide state width, I liked the style but I can't fit into them.

I usually buy timberland boots with no problem whatsoever but I was really surprised when these didn't fit. I've ordered an 11W in multiple pairs of different Timberland boots and none of them fit properly. I ordered a size up even, and they're still too narrow. I'm disappointed in these and hope the company will make the shoes less narrow the next time around.

NOT WIDE. Don't be fooled. I tried even going 2 sizes up, and I could barely get my foot into the boot. I'm so disappointed in Timberland. They make great wide shoes. Why can't these translate that into wide foot boots?

I wanted to love these boots. I previously owned these in brown: https://www.timberland.com/shop/womens-boots/womens-earthkeepers-savin-hill-mid-boots-8543r001. After three years of very heavy (and happy!) use through Boston falls and winters, they got too worn out and gross (thanks salt) to continue wearing. I bought these boots to replace those. I was a bit taken aback by the hefty price tag (and the odd exemption from coupons), but I went for it anyway because they seemed cute and I trusted they would last at least 3 years. I definitely think they'll last and they're pretty comfortable, but they are shockingly heavy for a short boot and a bit too stiff for my taste. I didn't realize how chunky they would look on either. Overall, I'm happy enough with the purchase not to return them, but I would definitely try these on in person if you're considering them.

I've bought these boots twice now and both times the sole starts coming off at the toe after about a year of occasional use. They're gorgeous boots but not worth the price as they don't hold up.

I have very flat feet. The straight edge of the heel cuts into my arch making even short term wear uncomfortable. Otherwise, I like the boots. The slightly rounded toe and the shade of brown are nice.

Gorgeous thick leather, but the arch support was nonexistent. I could feel where the tread started at the ball of my foot and it was very hard. Like there was something inside the shoe pushing up on my foot. As others note this shoe runs very narrow. I ordered the wide and it was still on the tight side for my medium-width foot.

Bought these boots right before leaving on a trip to europe before the christmas holidays. The glue on the heel came off after wearing it twice. I called the store in seattle where I bought them (long distance) and they declined to take responsibility. It's hard to believe that boots that cost $160 have such poor quality. Worse is the reputation of Timberland for selling such low quality merchandise. I am so disappointed and will inform others not to make the same mistake of buying these boots.

I bought these boots less than a week ago at Talaria Footwear Adornment in Kimberly, BC last weekend when I was in town for a wedding and it was unexpectedly cold. I loved them. But after 3 wears, the sole is peeling away from the toe on BOTH of the shoes. I had heard great things about timberland boots, but I've never been so disappointed in the performance of a shoe. I thought, if I was going to buy a pair of new shoes, they should be quality. What a waste of money!

Received them, tried them on, and new immediately that they would never be soft enough to be comfortable, both across the ball of the foot and around the ankle (I have skinny ankles). As for the look... I think they would have been cuter, more versatile, in brown but my current requirements are for black. I have a large foot (10m) and in black they were just hard shells, like ugly combat boots. They were well constructed and Timberland is high quality, but sadly they were in the mail back to the manufacturer the next day, and now I have to go to the mall. Ugh!

I purchased these boots on September 15th 2016 and I just noticed today that the sole is coming unglued from the leather part of the boots in multiple places... on each shoe. Super frustrated. Having to return these to the manufacturer with supposed 3-5 week turnaround for warranty processing is really frustrating... theoretically forcing me to buy another expensive pair of boots in the mean time. I work in a dry environment in a coffee shop. No hiking, puddles, etc. Beware. Too bad. First bad experience with a Timberland shoe. :(
