Beautiful leather and boot, true to Timberland brand. Ran a little narrow, which was perfect for my narrow foot. However, a little to combat boot looking for me at my mid-fifties age. Perhaps in another color, but I need black boots.

These boots are really comfortable, with great arch support. I think my foot is fairly average and typically wear a medium width shoe, but took note of all the comments on how narrow they are. The wide size fits great. So do take note!! I cant speak to how they hold up in the rain (hopefully they're not slippery), but so far so good.

Originally on the fence about these. Saw they were on sale, so snatched them up. They are everything I wanted. It was a little difficult getting on but I walked around with them for a few mins and took off and tried them on again and they loosened up a little. Just as any new shoe would. Fits like a glove.

I'm a big fan of Timberland footware I have several shoes and these are going to be a part of my comfy shoes collection. The leather is soft enough that you don't need the usual time to "break them in". The laces would be a huge hastle but they have a convenient zipper on the side - such a time saver. Absolutely worth the money and knowing the quality of Timberland shoes, these are going to last a few seasons. Great purchase!

The size in this boot says wide. There is no way this boot is a wide width.

These shoes look and feel great! I love that I can tie them tighter or looser so they stay on my foot right. They were a bit stiff on the first wear or two but they softened up quickly. They go great with both dresses and jeans. They're great for dates and running around NYC.

Really nice boot however they are so narrow! I ordered 8.5 medium (because I am typically not wide.) and had to send them back for Wide and these feel the same. I am wondering if maybe they will break in and give enough to be comfortable but I’m almost sure I can’t even wear a decently thick sock even if the material was more pliable. I’m disappointed because they look amazing, and I was going to wear these to Scotland for my wedding but I think it’d be a mistake for me to try to ignore the tightness of them.

Really nice boots

My husband and I eloped to Iceland and I wore these boots on my wedding day and then every day for the rest of our trip. They are extremely comfortable, they kept my feet warm and dry, and the zipper detail is convenient. I am usually between an 8.5 and a 9- I ordered both to try and the 8.5 was definitely the way to go, 9 would have been way too big and the 8.5 pair was comfortable even with thicker socks. I deducted one star because after returning from Iceland I noticed that the sole on both shoes was separating from the leather in some places. I think that it may have been a factory defect — I exchanged them for a new pair of the exact same style and haven’t had any issues, but it’s still something to look out for.

Quite happy so far "ah the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots" they are cute combat boots, not clunky. Ordered both the the wide and the reg...huge difference. Toe box in the non wide boot was very narrow, you should be able to move your toes when wearing footwear. Returned the non wide pair asap. Both pairs seem to have been tried and returned, it seems without even going to Zappos quality control, they were laying in the box quite disheveled...not much of a problem just kind of odd. Still wondering if they will break in nicely, the leather is quite stiff. Will put them to the test in walking around the city, hopefully they hold up. As long as they don't become soaked in the rain, I'd be happy. Glad they went on sale. Hoping the sole doesn't split like I have read in reviews. The heel is larger than I'm used to, but hey 2" more when you're 5'2" is kinda cool. We'll see if they make it through what the PNW this at 'em.
