I ordered the grey socks and was very disappointed to find that they were compression socks which tend to squeeze my feet and are uncomfortable so, if you are like me the grey socks won't be for you.
Absolutely love the color of these shoes. I had ordered a size 12 which was too small. My toe went (uncomfortably) all the way to the end of the show. I returned that pair and ordered a 12 1/2, which fit the exact same way as the 12 with absolutely no difference in the length of the shoe. Sadly, I am returning the 12 1/2 as well.
Attractive shoe. Light weight. Good arch support. Ordered a half-size bigger based on reviews saying the shoe ran small. The shoe was slipping off my foot. So, I ordered my regular size (7.5) and it seemed more than a 1/2 size smaller. I was able to fit in it, but would have liked a little more toe room. I have wide feet (D) and there was plenty room width wise. I haven't walked much in the shoe yet, but it seems promising.
I normally would buy a wide shoe, but his one fits perfectly. Generously sized toe box. Pure comfort for walking. My only request from ASICS is that they would repeat some of their previous, more adventurous color combos.
These do not fit the corresponding size of Allen Edmunds shoes. I own several pairs of AE size 12 dress shoes. These trees get stuck in top part of the shoe and do not extend. The issue is they will deform the upper shoe and do nothing to the front that they are intended to form and pull moisture from.
These booties are so comfortable you would swear you are wearing slippers. I took these on a two week trip to Europe last fall and, alternating with some cute sneakers, my feet were Very Happy! I do feel like style wise they aren't quite as cute as I would wish but they were ok. They really are so amazingly comfortable that it made it worthwhile. I was on my feet for many hours with absolutely zero pain and zero break in required (and my feet tend to be picky).
