Great shoes. This is my second pair; first pair I wore almost everyday for 3 years. I have a narrow foot with the design of shoe the width is easily adjusted with the laces. Great shoes for everyday use and hiking. The soles adapt to most all surfaces. The shoes are manufactured in Romania and are of high quality. I have had my new Mojitos for the past month and wear them everyday....Great shoes.

Love these shoes. Very good all-around climbing shoe. I had to size down half size from my other Scarpas (Instincts and Magos at 43.5). I'm a 10.5 street shoe and ended up with a 43 in these. I'll probably try 42.5 with my next pair.

Love my Scarpa's. This is my 2nd pair; bought my first pair 8 years ago and hiked over 100 miles in the Sierra Mtns. and Yosemite incuding submitting some of the mtns. Gave me great support and gripped boulders, rocks, scree, talus, snow.... Since I have high arches used my orthotics, comfortable, no break in period. New pair just as comfortable with same support and grip. I am 62 and hope to put another 100 miles on them!

I have a fairly large / wide big toe, and it's always a struggle to find shoes that aren't super boxy but can still accommodate my toe without pain. These fit the bill. The sole is a nice rugged pattern. My largest beef with these is that they have basically no footbed padding. I like them for driving, but for longer distance walking, my feet can't take the punishment. Think of them along the lines of the Nike "Free" running shoes, but with a more all-terrain outsole. They are nice for driving (i.e. 3 pedal driving) since you get decent pedal feel due to the lack of padding between insole and outsole. Not as good as something like a Piloti, but a nice choice for driving somewhere and then possibly having to walk around in mud or dirt or anything other than clean tarmac. Just hope you don't have to walk too long, because the lack of cushioning is painful.

Lightweight comfortable with a stiff sole.

Nice fitting shoe. At first I thought they were going to be too stiff but they eased up very fast. The laces could be longer for those of us who have high arches. Over all I am very happy with these shoes

I love the look of this hiking shoe. Something a little different than the typical hiker or tennis shoe. I had to order these 3 tomes before I got the right size. I always wear a 9 1/2 in running shoes but I got an 8 1/2 in these which is what I wear in sandals. So I wouldn't order a size larger as some of the reviews indicate.

This shoe runs true to your street size (same as all previous Scarpa Techno shoes have in my experience). My street shoe size is womens 6 (size 37) and I ordered a size 37 in this shoe. Out of the box, it fits snug but not painful. If it's anything like previous Techno versions, it will slightly loosen up with use but not even as much as half a size. I've been wearing Scarpa Techno exclusively for the past 3 years and I was nervous when they came out with the Techno X that it would be much different, but it's not. It just seems to be slightly higher quality with material/stitching, and the new colors are awesome.

I have worn many hiking and trail shoes. I was looking forward to these as they look awesome and I spent a ton of time researching for my next purchase. After trying them on and walking around the block, these were the most uncomfortable, unforgiving shoes I have ever worn. I had hot spots before I got to the end of the block. I get it - they're supposed to be an approach shoe, etc...but I boxed them up and sent them back the minute I got back in the door. I'll re-order the Vasque JUXT and call it a day.

Very comfortable for a climbing shoe. Slightly downturned but not too aggressive it has a thicker rubber though, so you do lose out on some feel while climbing. Overall I am very satisfied with the shoe.

Whom ever came up with the 45.5 size is a genius. 11.5 is always just a little too small so I'd go with a 12. It worked but never felt like they actually fit exactly. 11.6 is perfect. I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. This shoe laces high on the instep so it locks my heel in for absolutely no slip. Very happy with these Scarpas.

These are gorgeous, well-made shoes! I looked for quite a while on the site for a shoe that I could wear for medium hiking this summer for an upcoming trip. I wanted a shoe that could do the active and transition to casual wear also which I believe I found in the Scarpa Mojito. I purchased a size 8 and it's a great fit for my normal size 8 foot. I'm flat-footed so I also needed room for my orthotic insole, which this shoe has room for. **The insole that came in the shoe feels much like a Converse insole for comparison. The exterior of the shoe in the deep burgundy/brown color is beautiful! Feel that itl'll go well with shorts, sporty skirts/skorts, and jeans/leggings. In addition, the shoe is lightweight, no clunky feeling which is a plus for packing & flying.

Nice shoes. Overall, I am pleased with them. One minor gripe is the short shoe strings. It seems to me that they used standard length shoe strings in a shoe that laces up closer to the toe & needs longer strings.

The Scarpa Zen is a quality shoe! I wear Lowa hiking and hunting boots normally, but needed something for lighter warm weather treks, so decided on the Zens after a lot of research which so far has paid off. They definitely run narrow as I usually wear an 11B and they are just right for me. Do not count on any insole for arch support due to it being next to nothing and without my custom orthotic insole, they are like walking on a hard floor. Cushioning insoles a must in my opinion, but not too thick because the heal is designed for the skinny insole provided and my 3/8' insoles just start to let the heel slip a bit. The main reason I bought the Zen is reviews about running narrow and the true lace to toe design that is the stone cold nuts! I suspect after they are thoroughly broken in, they will become my go to summer shoe when not wearing my flip-flops, and will order another pair in case Scarpa is stupid and discontinues this model.

Very cute shoes, but NO arch support, and the feel is kind of hard and unbending. Sadly returning.

Great ankle support, and a great classic boot look. The leather was really nice and they were easy to lace. Sadly, their "42" was more like a size 9.5 than an 11 going by their size chart. I wear a size 10, and my toe was at the end with a moderate sock on. With any walking I can only imagine how uncomfortable they would have been. Really wish they had come in a bigger size

I was looking for a lower profile hiking boot, but was limited because of my size requirement. I decided to try the Scarpa based on other good reviews. I am extremely happy with my purchase. These fit great and were comfortable right out of the box. I can't judge the arch support as I have to use my own arch support inserts regardless, but with 10-15 miles on them in the first few days, I definitely recommend them.

I've worn these nearly everyday and they've become soft, supportive street shoes for my feet. No break-in time needed. I'll be purchasing the pros for hiking and camping.

The soles are grippy and the shoes look good, but these are the least comfortable shoes I've had in a long long time. My government issue jungle boots are more comfortable than these. Think 'pair of rental ice skates' and you'll understand what these feel like when you lace them up. They're so tight, I don't even tie the laces for walking around. I went on a 7 mile hike in the mountains over the weekend, I didn't even consider wearing these things. I bought 1/4 size larger than normal. I should have bought the 1/2 size larger.

Great shoes! I have wide feet and it's hard to find comfortable shoes. Because they lace all the way to the toe it's easy to adjust. A slightly wider version would be perfect, but after wearing these out a few times they seem to have broken in. I'm going to get another pair in a different color
