Love this bag! I am a short female looking for a backpack short backpack and this is perfect. Love the organizational pockets. Great bag for a student or short adult.

I'm petite (5'1", 135 lbs) and this is my perfect metro or city gym-to-backpack. I've been looking for one to make my commute easier for the days I workout before the office. The top compartment fits my shows (sneakers or heels) and I love that I can lay it down to fill it up and to unload! It is still a backpack though so if you don't like the feel of one, then don't buy it but otherwise it is a brilliant solution!

Perfect for carrying all the crap I have to carry for work, and the extra lint roller and travel CHI straightener. As always, Zappos took care of business and got it to me lightening fast!

Most of us have owned a backpack since we were kids. I have purchased many versions of the standard backpack over the years, and I am most pleased with this Osprey Celeste. It is a sturdy backpack, colorful, comfortable and filled with many interior spaces for storing all sorts of items. Solid purchase!

Purchased it with great excitement, but couldn't be more disappointed with any product! It's just set up very weird. Tried all settings but the waist belt ends up at chest and the bag protrudes way above the head. Either I cannot figure out the design or it's just a weird bag. Very disappointed esp. after reading the reviews of how awesome it's supposed to be. It's a great color, but awful design. I will just order the one for men as bags for women are designed horrible.

This is a nice fit for petite people. The bag is huge in functional size. Can get a ton in it. chest and hip strap keep it on you while hiking or just chasing kids. My only complaint is the slash side mesh pocket, iPhone will stay in, but some drinks won't. A kids sippy cup falls right out when leaning over. contigo stainless steel slender falls out. but I think the wide ones stay in because the stretchy part hugs the containers.

The color is not reflected very well in teh picture. It's more of a weird, muddy gray green. The product is nice, but it didn't coordinate with what I wanted.

I'm returning this one, but not because I don't love it. This backpack took my son through his post-grad trip in Europe in fine style; he carried it on airplanes, used the daypack, and then took it off to college. I thought the same one would work for me, but it is just not right for my needs. I need the wheels and I don't need the day pack attached. But this is a great piece of equipment.

Perfect size bag for carrying wallet, phone and some personal items. Strap is long enough to carry cross body. Have the larger bag and use it when carrying larger items like a book or knitting project. This bag is perfect for running to the store.

I needed a commuting bag for my laptop that was stylish enough to bring to client meetings, and after much trial and error I landed on the FlapJill. It is a nice size for a woman's physique, and the muted dark colors are interesting without being tween, making this bag look less like a backpack and more like a computer bag. The main compartment is quite roomy - I can pack Mac, a few notebooks, wallet and yoga clothes in there without much added bulk. The only gripe I have is with the design of the "outer" pockets". One is on the side of the bag, but it is just far enough around the side that I have to take the bag off my back to reach it, and I'm pretty tall with long arms. The other multi-use zipped pocket requires that the main compartment be snapped open to access it - also a bit inconvenient when on the run. Basically, I want to be able to grab my Metro card out of a pocket without stopping to take the bag off and/or unsnapping the whole bag, and that I cannot do. It's not a huge deal though and overall I'm really happy with it. It is lightweight, well-dimensioned, and attractive (also waterproof, I think?) so all-in-all a good investment.

Overall I really like this backpack. I bought it to use on my commute to work in downtown Chicago. I needed something that would hold a heavy laptop, lunch bag, shoes, umbrella, coffee thermos, and an extra jacket (I know, that's a lot of stuff!) - all without feeling too heavy or hurting my already injured back. It almost always holds everything I need. The waist strap is great for extra heavy loads and keeps the weight on my hips instead of my back. The two main compartments are key for capacity and organization. However, there is one major design flaw that drives me crazy - the zipper pulls! They are long and easy to grab, but if you have to pull with any amount of force on them, one side of the cord slips through the crack in the metal part of the zipper. I'm legitimately concerned I'm going to lose a pull cord this way. For such a well known pack manufacturer, I expected all of the elements to be great. I'm keeping the bag, but hoping they'll fix the zipper pull issue in future models.

This is a great pack and includes lot of different pockets for valuables, electronics and clothing. The drawback is that it does not have a padded waist belt. It seems Osprey and most other companies only put padded waist belts on hiking only packs. Those packs don't have a lot of pockets just one big opening. I would love to see the travel packs have a padded waist belt for better multi use on the trail or for everyday.

All of my travel bags and my backpack are Osprey so I was excited about getting this duffel. I love the color (red) but it's quite small. The dimensions are larger than my 18" duffel from another manufacturer, but I'm not able to get more inside. I need a larger bag and one that's a bit more rugged for taking on the boat. I don't think I will be able to ever get it packed inside of itself again, but that's not a big problem, it folds flat and takes up little space for storing. It's a great bag with some great features such as the inner pouch and the pocket on top, but it won't meet my needs.

Terrific day pack. I utilized the pack for a trip where I would be doing a mix of urban and rural trekking. I needed a pack to hold camera bits and bobs and a jacket/sweater. This pack fit the bill and I especially like the light color which won't absorb heat as much as the darker colors offered by Osprey. I plan on getting the hydration insert for future use in travel and skiing. I was originally concerned that the side pockets would not be conducive to holding a water bottle, but I had no issues.

Ordered this product based on it's size as I wanted something larger than my 14L hydration pack, but smaller than my 38L Kestrel. I am a professional resource specialist, and also contract as a naturalist guide doing interpretation in National Parks throughout the West. I currently own 8 different Osprey products including backpacking backpacks, daypacks, messenger bags, and a hydration pack. I think Osprey is a great company, but I couldn't believe my eyes when I tried on this pack, and found that the way the shoulder straps are attached, they render the nice-sized waist-belt pockets completely unusable. You'd have to take off your shoulder strap in order to access the waistbelt pockets. This is an extremely poor design and a major flaw in an expensive daypack. Also, I am an average-sized athletic female (5'8", 145#), wearing a S/M in a unisex Osprey and the waistbelt on this back has no more than 3" of surplus on either side. If I was a few pounds heavier or wearing winter clothes, the waistbelt wouldn't fit, yet the chest strap has so much extra webbing, it's long enough to fly up and strike my face in the wind. Osprey definitely needs a redo on this model. Big loser. Probably the first time I've written a negative review for an Osprey product.

I like bags and i was looking for a wheeled, light weight carry on bag. all my other carry ons were either too heavy (ebags) or no wheels (ton bihn). this one looked promising. but the style is not very forgiving in terms of packing and despite it's claim of what it can hold, there's no way it fits that much. plus the material is a little flimsy and I worried about rain. i ended up getting an eagle creek that's only 1.75 pounds heavier and is expandable and holds much more, despite having the same dimensions.

Love this pack. It's the perfect size for a day hike. I love the padded back panel; it keeps the pack from resting on my back...the added 'air space' keeps me from getting to sweaty and hot. Love that it has space for a water bladder and still could get jackets, snacks in the big pocket and phone, ID and smaller items in front pocket. Perfect pack for me. Highly recommend.
