I bought these after reading the great reviews. They did not disappoint. Part of that may be that I think I have been buying my shoes a half size too small for my entire life. These are extremely comfortable and look great. I have been wearing them for a couple of months and feel they are well worth the cost.

Could have been great but with my custom orthotics my heel came out of the shoe with every step...so sorry!

Ordered women's size 8.5. Received in the shoe box was 1 men's size 9 shoe and 1 women's size 8.5 shoe! Total disappointment! Returned for refund!! I guess buying shoes online isn't such a good idea after all! Back to searching..in stores where they check the boxes for the contents of same size shoes! The women's 8.5 fit but I didn't like it. Felt and looked cheep! Btw the customer service rep tried to tell me to bring the shoes to a UPS store for return. I live at least 20 miles from a ups store. So then he told me to bring it to post office! I live far away, hence shopping online! So finally he said that Zappos doesn't usually do this but just leave it on the porch and ups will pick up at your house and zappos will pay the extra charge for this. Never been told that before by any other company!! I have always been offered free pick up at the house! Wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience either.

Nice hiking boot, nice looking. For some reason, my delicate picky feet preferred a different Lowa boot, but I am not sure why so don't not like these on my account. If I had not compared them and worn one on each foot I would not have known the difference. I hike a lot and these are good boots.

Lowa (try typing that with the Zappos spell check) discontinued my go to hiking boot so I thought this looked like it. It does look like it and fits like it BUT I think it is for more serious hiking. I hike 5 days a week on a local trail, yes, steep but not the Sierras. The ankle is too high for my comfort, and I like ankle support AND YOU HAVE TO THREAD THE LACES THROUGH THE TOP TWO EYEHOLES INSTEAD OF SPEED HOOKS. If not for the lack of speed hooks I may have kept them despite the too high ankle.

What I like about this shoe is that the last hits my foot in the exact right spot to be comfortable for standing around. The exterior is durable and the color holds up. What I dislike about this shoe is that the stiffness causes the inside heel to wear out prematurely. You wear through the fabric in a matter of a few months. This is definitely not a shot for hiking any distance because of its lack of durability in that one key area. It's perfect for standing around. Terrible if you're going to put miles on these shoes.

These are approach shoes, not intended for long hikes. Outsoles are too stiff for that and might cause blisters, especially on heels. In fact, whole shoe is strong and stiff, definitely not soft and flexible. They offer good support and excel at edging. Intended for moving on rocky terrain (mixture of hiking and a little bit of climbing). If you need footwear for long hikes the best I know are Lowa Camino. Those will not cause any blisters.

I was unaware of the Lowa brand before purchasing these hiking boots two weeks ago. Based on all of the positive reviews, I took a chance on buying the boots and taking them on our family vacation which included some hiking in the woods and walking in a city. The boots were very comfortable and provided a great deal of support while keeping my feet cool. I would definitely recommend these boots.

I think these are very comfortable, and true to size. They are also very lightweight which I like. I have narrow feet and a high arch, and I have bought Lowa's before with great success. I am looking forward to wearing these for many years.

Truth be told I bought these to try on because I liked the way the looked and have good experiences with Lowa in the past. But they are pretty pricey and I assumed I'd send them back as not being worth the money. Well jokes on me. These things are fantastic. Very very comfortable and I love the style.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable. It is a little on the narrow side but hoping that it will stretch given it's leather inside and out. The price tag commands some serious expectations and the shoes do not disappoint. Perfect for the casual-but-proffessional occasion and has become my go to. Also, the color is a little bit more grey/brown than the pictures.

Nice shoes but I have bunions and require a softer shoe. I would rate then 5 star if my feet were normal.

I have one foot that runs a bit wide so I ordered the wide. they fit well as I wear with mid-weight cushy hiking socks. I bought these boots after I sprained and ankle and they provide secure and comfortable support for my ankle. I have worn them on a couple of shorted hikes/walks and they are very comfortable, no rubbing anywhere.

I've had my Lowa Renegade GTX boots for 7 months now. The first pair had some stitching issues and were replaced right away. THIS pair of boots is great for those rocky trails in the mountains. They are waterproof and I've forded more than one shallow stream in these boots successfully. The problem I have had has to do with the stitching. After only 7 months the stitching in the tow cap has come undone. The boots have a one year warranty and I could have had them repaired for free at Lowa USA. The problem with that is the turn around time. I've heard 6 weeks but I don't know about that for sure. I ended up taking them to a local shop and got both boot's tow caps restitched. Unfortunately this ruined the waterproofing but the boots are so comfortable on rocky surfaces that I sacrificed that feature just so I wouldn't have to be without my Lowa Renegades.

I've owned mine for about 6 months now, and have been completely happy. Lowa's newer urban shoes combine modern styling, ready for globetrotting or nights out in the city, with top grade materials and craftsmanship carried over from their boot/outdoors history, resulting in a surprisingly light, amazingly comfortable, and fortunately durable shoe. I pretty much wear them every day now, and look forward to trying out some other Lowa casual shoes.

Finally I replaced my old pair with a new one and I hope it will last as well. My new pair is comfortable from the start. It is totally waterproof. I wear them in summer and in winter in a snow. I always travel with a pair of Lowa no matter on a season of year. I cannot imagine different brand for my hiking boot. I am hooked on Lowa. I had the same model of shoes for 14 years before finally they fell apart on me. I did not want to give up my boots that were with me since 2000 till 2014 all over the world. I told my husband that I will wear them until they disintegrate while I am was wearing them. I stayed true to my vow. They fell apart on me in Barcelona in autumn of 2014. I definitely recommend Lowa Renegade. By the way, Zappos service is incredible.

Love the boots but had to glue all the seams and it still fell apart too quickly. These things do not like rocks.

I went through 3 pairs of these in the Rocky Mountains. Had to upgrade to something more durable that would last longer. Great fitting leather hiker just wish the seams would last longer. Fits wide feet just fine.

This is my second pair of Lowa Hiking boots in 8 years. My last pair, the Lowa Renegade GTX, remain a functioning pair, however, sometimes I leave them at the back door and they get wet from rain, so I decided to buy a 'back up' pair. The Mauria LL Flex are amazing! Most days I wear medium Smartwool socks and my feet are very comfortable in the Mauria Lowa boot. Recently, in a hurry, I wore a thin pair of socks on a two hour hike and while my foot did not feel snug in the boot, I didn't get one blister. These boots are lightweight, flexible, and yet, sturdy on the bottom and around the ankle where most needed. I hike through woods and muddy creek bottom areas and Lowa boots keep my feet dry. The Mauria does not disappoint!

I have a very narrow foot and only order narrow shoes. I ordered one style of Lowa that came in narrow and this style. They both felt the same in the width but this style felt like walking on air! It is extremely lightweight. They fit like a glove, are made very well, and I'm anticipating they wear well. I haven't worn them yet except around the house because I bought them for an upcoming trip to Iceland and Norway where we'll be hiking quite a bit. I'm very happy with the purchase even though they were pricey!
