Stain resistant and effective in keeping childs hands warm while skiing and snow balling. Very pleased. My daughter also loved that our gloves matched!

Excellent glove for 3.5 year old Spring skiing! We bought two pairs to allow for drying time between day skiing and evening snow play.

I purchased these lovely leather gloves to replace another pair that were well used, and I could not be happier. Using the size chart provided, I ordered size 7 even though my hand measured 7.5 in. The medium glove fits perfectly and is wonderfully warm thanks to the wool lining. I look forward to many years of wear.

I've been skiing 30+ years. I ski in all conditions, like a full day, so appreciate functional, effective, technical gear. Long ago, I switched from leather to waterproof fabric gloves, had the first (then very well-made) model of Seirus gloves which had an inner plastic waterproofing, a removable liner with inner sub-zero fleece microfiber flocking, and double stitching throughout...unlike what is available now from that company today. I was hesitant to buy these leather Hestra gloves, as they don't have a removable fitted liner, or many zippered areas for heat packs in extreme sub-zero cold. But you won't need them! These are very well-made, WARM, and sleek in a classic way, the elastic fitted cuff will fit smoothly under your jacket, easy to remove and put back on. I bought a pair 2 years ago, and appreciate the improvement of a hook attachment. Other gloves on the market offer ability to use a touchscreen without removing them. This would be a terrific improvement, but in any case, they are well-made, of excellent quality, warm, sleek, functional!

These gloves are extremely comfortable and warm. The Hestra sizing scheme is spot on. I wear XL gloves/mitts and purchased size 11. They might be a tad large, but only a tad. Much better than a tad too small. The wrist band is very convenient. I use these for snowmobiling, as well, and have no warmth issues. Removable liners is huge. These are easy to remove after skiing and placed on a dryer. Owners should frequently treat the leather, however. I do this almost after every use. I dropped one star on "Overall," due to price. $140 is pretty stiff for a pair of gloves. A little rich for my blood, but I am very pleased with style and performance.

These are the best ski gloves I have ever owned (been skiing 20+ years). They are extremely warm, and the leather is both soft & durable. The wrist straps are clutch - my first gloves with these, and they are extremely convenient.

These gloves are amazing and then some. Extremely comfortable, and extremely warm. Fit great and are so cozy on my hands on cold winter days!

I was happy to find a glove made of natural materials. I like the use of snaps instead of velcro. The leather is very good quality and the craftsmanship is excellent. I have thick fingers and these aren't tight for me as most gloves.

Love them. Comfortable, cute and stylish. I got them in white and they look fab. Sizing isn't great, though. Size 7 was short in the fingers but fine in the palm. Size 8 fit the fingers but are a tad baggy in the palm area.

These are perfect! Great fit for little hands. Easy on/off side zipper. Extra long for added protection from the elements. I went through 5 other gloves/mittens before finding these. All the other ones were huge for little hands. These are a great find!!!!

I bought these to be a Christmas gift for my mother, so I can't rate them personally; but I watched as she opened them and tried them on and I know she loved them. I could tell that the quality is excellent (I even put my hand in one before wrapping them even though the size was too big for my hands, and the lining felt soft and cozy), and the styling is classic. I picked Hestra because Patagonia sells them and I know they vet their suppliers for humane acquisition of animal products (goose feathers, wool, etc.). They cost $110 elsewhere so I was glad to find a price so much better here.

Bought these for my husband to plow snow with. Expensive but well worth the money. He will get years of use out of them.

BEAUTIFUL gloves! Deerskin is the most durable leather and Hestra is known for warmth, which is my highest priority. It is below zero where I live today, and I am so happy to be able to wear these gloves today!

The gloves fit well, have good features, should be very durable. I have cold hands, and agree that at or below freezing - wish the fingers were warmer. Hard to find really warm gloves that are dextrous, have good grip, etc.

These gloves are high quality and sure to last. The leather is supple and smooth. Make sure you measure your hand circumference to ensure a great fit. Mine is 7.5". The 7 was too small. I'm not sure why zappos doesn't carry a 7.5 as Hestra makes them, but I ordered an 8 and they fit just fine.

I was hesitant to order such pricey gloves, but I wanted a pair that would look stylish, keep my hands super warm and not be too bulky. These are AMAZING. Not only are they extremely toasty, but they are gorgeous and buttery-soft. I used the size finder on Hestra's website to determine my size; it put me in a 7.5, but since that size wasn't offered in these, and I have very long fingers, I went with the 8, and it fits ... well, like a glove.

Recently picked these up. Big fan of Hestra's glove sizing (sizing is akin to ring sizing - unisex, lots more fits than anyone else). They make a great glove, and these fit extremely well, look great, and seem like they'll be a good mid-weight warm glove that will last a long time. The elk leather is very supple straight away - doesn't seem like it will need any break in period.
