This is my fourth pair of Aravon shoes. The fit is perfect and the style is great with pants or skirts.

This shoe is not orthotic friendly. The removeable footbed is very thin. My orthotics are much too thick to fit in the shoe. Also the shoe runs short and very narrow.

Pretty blend of smooth matte leather and alligator patent with an attractive wrap-over design on the toe. Wide, rounded toe plus wide width (D) and moderate arch. The sides of the heel and the Velcro strap have a pretty stitched design. What does not work for me is the angle of the sole. Even though the heel is just one inch, my foot slides forward and my weight positions on the ball of my foot. Alana will not suit office work where I stand all day.

My short, narrow heeled foot is very difficult to fit. Shoes and sandals than I can wear traveling while living out of a suit are and still look presentable in a cafe or boutique are incredibly difficult to find. The Aravon Katy is a least substantially supportive and comfortable for my feet while only moderately stylish. The velcro adheres well and makes adjustments easy for different size feet. I purchase a narrow width and found them to be an excellent fit that doesn't rub like so many other shoes.

These were a nice pair of black boots with versatility. They're not gorgeous and stylish, but nice and practical. They are well-made, but my fussy feet couldn't get comfortable in them. I have a high arch and I have trouble getting footwear that has the arch support in the right place. I was so sorry to send these back! If you don't have foot issues, I would recommend these boots.

These have to be the most unattractive shoes! They are stiff, clunky and uncomfortable. I have a narrow and sensitive foot and I felt every stitch and seam in the inside. I bought these based on good reviews but these are going back.

I really like these sandals. They are not only stylish and comfortable, but love the removeable foot bed so I can use an elevation insert (one leg shorter) and it doesn't show. they are a bit pricy but worth it. Zappos as always is great, and my definite go-to shoe source!

Most comfortable pair of shoes I have bought in quite a while ! Well made ..good quality and no break in period required for me which says a lot! I bought 4 pairs in 2 colors! Extremely comfortable, moisture wicking footbed , soft leather and adjustable straps! Not the most beautiful but comfort for me with my wide flat feet , is far more important !

I needed a pair of comfortable walking shoes for a trip to Europe and didn't want to wear my running shoes. These Aravon the perfect solution. Very comfortable for my narrow foot and while not exactly dressy, I didn't feel overly self conscious when wearing them with dressy trousers. Another added plus, the insole can be removed and replaced with a custom orthotic if needed.

I bought these shoes because I am a diabetic and I also have severe neuropathy in both feet. I got a sore on the tip of my toes on each foot, so my ortho walking shoes are out for now. I had to find something fast to wear and I honestly didn't know what I was going to do. I'd read all the good and bad reviews. This review is a great one. My severe neuropathy has been going on for over 10 years, and most shoes hurt to even try them on. One review I read was not a "good" review because the lady said the shoes "forced your heels down" and that is what sold me on these Aravon Katherine sandals. At the ball of my feet in the metatarsal area, I'm down to my bones. These shoes do force your heel down but for me it's a good thing, it gives relief to the ball of my feet (metatarsal region) as it takes the pressure off that area. I really need memory foam in all of my shoes (these aren't memory foamed) I just was telling this part to show what kind of comfort I need in a shoe. I wear out memory foams and my ortho inserts out in weeks and they should last much, much longer. I don't know how these will hold up, but if they last me a month even at this expensive price I will be happy, and I will buy another pair. I wear them inside the house and outside. I can adjust all the straps - the one that goes across the toes, across the instep and in the back at the heel. If someone has a very high instep it might be a problem, but honestly, my feet have been swollen to twice the size they normally are and I can still get them on and when they at their normal size I can still adjust them back down. I love these shoes. I really do. I can wear them with dressy outfits or with jeans or dress pants and this color helps too, because I can wear them with white, black, brown or grey, I can even wear them with navy blue...doesn't matter. I highly recommend these shoes. I have never found a pair this versatile and this comfortable and I expected them to look ugly on and they don't. One thing I've learned, don't listen to the bad reviews unless you think they can help you. I nearly didn't buy these shows because of bad reviews. However, with that said, the one bad review I read about the heel being forced down is really what sold me on the shoes, so I guess what I'm saying is what might be bad for one person may be another person's good thing. It was for me. Oh, and I forgot, I'm over 60 years young and these shoes are not too young looking for someone my age or any age really. I think they would look very nice on a young woman too.

This shoe looked good online, but when I saw it in person, it's not as nice looking.

I purchased these for my daughter who has really hard to fit shoe due to really wide foot. And SHE LOVES THEM!! She put them on straight from box, and she walk out, wear them to the store. Which she never does. She said she want another pair before they run out!! I buy another pair for her now.

Love the style and quality of this Aravon boot, and the fact that it is orthotic friendly. Boot runs large. Will try a smaller size.

Love Aravon quality, and that they are orthotic friendly. Width is good in instep but slips in heel. Seems to run large. I would like a younger looking boot.

I love these shoes!! I find them to be very cute, comfortable and have fantastic support. I even wore them to Zumba and found them better for my neuromas than my gym sneakers. I also own the beige pair, currently saving up for the black pair and going more colors like a nice red/burgundy are on the way :0)

I like Aravon shoes because they are orthotic friendly and are great quality. This boot seems very narrow across the instep. I would like something a little younger looking.

I so wanted to like these shoes – 99% of the time anything from Aravon is great – but they just didn't make the cut. First of all, they felt very stiff around my instep (even with adjustable shoestrings). I noticed some of the reviewers said the same thing, but they softened up after breaking in. I don't want to chance that. And, I thought they looked too clunky. They did feel like they'd be very comfortable on the right person: soles are great and there's a nice, roomy toebox. Just didn't work for me.

Oh my gosh I love these shoes. It's very difficult for me to find wide width dress shoes for work and these are absolutely perfect! I would buy them in additional colors if they made them.
